1 (18 oz.) pkg. refrigerated (slice 'n' bake) cookie dough

1/2 c. apricot jam
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
1 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 c. whipping cream or 2 c. dairy topping

fresh fruit: apples, oranges, bananas, pineapple,
strawberries, peaches, kiwi and maraschino cherries (your choice)

Slice the sugar cookie dough into thin slices and arrange on 12-inch pizza pan to cover, pressing to form crust as for a pizza.

Combine jam and lemon juice and spread over cookie layer.

Bake in 350º oven for 15-18 minutes. Cool completely.

Blend cream cheese (at room temperature), orange peel and confectioners' sugar.

Fold in whipping cream (or non-dairy topping) into cream cheese mixture and spread over cookie crust.

Arrange fresh fruit on top, beginning in center, in pinwheel fashion.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving time.
