1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup low fat milk
1 cup melted unsalted butter
2 tbsp freshly grated lemon peel,
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice (2 lemons)
4 eggs
4 1/2 tsp poppy seeds
GLAZE=
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 tbsp freshly grated lemon peel
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp poppy seeds

Preheat oven to 325º. Spray two 6bundt pans with pam. With elec. mixer blend all cake ingredients until combined, about three minutes. Pour into greased pans. Bake about 45 min until tooth pick comes out clean. We always used broom straw, pulled from the top. Remove and let cool on wire rack. For glaze, whisk together the sugar, lemon peel, juice and seeds until smooth. Add water by 1/2 tsp until desired consistance and spoon over cooled cakes.©Conagra Foods
