2-1/2 to 3 lbs chicken (cut up)
1/4 cup salad oil
2 medium onions
2 cloves garlic
1 lb can whole tomatoes
1 - 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp oregano or basil
1/2 c white wine
1/2 tsp celery seed
1-2 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken and oil in skillet. Remove chicken. In same skillet cook onions sliced in 1/4 inch slices along with 2 minced garlic cloves. Cook till tender, not browned. Return chicken to skillet, combine with whole tomatoes, tomatoes sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, celery seed and bay leaf. Simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in wine and cook 15 more minutes, stir occasionally. Remove bay leaf, skim excess fat. Serve with pasta!
