4 T. olive oil
1 med. onion (chopped)
3 garlic cloves (diced)
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 (26 oz.) cans tomatoe puree
2 (26 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dried parsley
1/2 tsp. fennel seeds
4 or 5 fresh basil leaves
3/4 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and drain fat, set aside. In olive oil saute onion and garlic until golden. Add all four cans of tomatoes and water. Add ground beef keeping on medium heat stirring often while adding the rest of the ingredients. Continue cooking on med to low heat, be sure to stir often to prevent sticking on bottom. Simmer for at least an hour.
Enjoy over your favorite pasta!
