1 small loaf unsliced white bread
1/2 c. softened butter
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
dash cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Trim crusts from top, sides, and ends of loaf (can use whole wheat). Cut down through center of loaf lengthwise, almost to bottom of loaf. Cut at 1 inch intervals crosswise, almost to bottom of loaf. Combine butter and remaining ingredients. Spread over entire cut surfaces. Place on baking sheet; cover with waxed paper and chill.

Before serving, uncover loaf and put in preheated 400° oven until golden. About 15 to 18 minutes.
