1-1/2 lb russett (baking) potatoes
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp marg or butter, softened
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 c milk, warmed
1/3 c sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Peel potatoes leaving 1/2 skin on each potato.
Cut potatoes into large chunks and place in saucepan.
Add cold water to cover along with 1/2 tsp of salt.
Boil, reduce heat.
Cover and cook 15-20 min. till potatoes are tender then drain.
Add butter, pepper and reamining 1/2 tsp salt to potatoes in pan.
Using a potatoe masher, mash potatoes SLIGHTLY.
Gently mash in milk, about HALF at a time, then mash in sour cream.
Switch to a wooden spoon and stir until potatoes are evenly mixed.
Season to taste with additional salt and pepper.
