COMBINE;
2 T. sugar
1 T. cornstarch
ADD: 1 c. water

Cook over med. heat stirring constantly until mixture is thick and clear. COOL

Directions:
Directions:
Beat 3 egg whites with 1/8 t. salt and 1/2 t. vanilla
until soft mounds form. Add 6 T. sugar gradually
beating after each addition.
Add cornstarch mixture and beat until soft peaks form.
Spread on pie and bake at 350 degrees until golden
brown.
