2 lb beef filet, flank or round
4 Tbsp butter or margarine (divided)
1 onion (minced)
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms (sliced)
2 Tbsp flour
2 cups of beef bullion
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper
1 c. sour cream (room temperature)

Cut meat into 1 inch slices, 1/2 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick. Brown meat in 2 tbsp butter for 5 min. Remove from pan and keep hot. Saute onions for 2 min, add to meat. Add 2 tbsp of butter to pan. Saute mushrooms. Remove from pan and add to meat. Add flour to pan and brown for 3 min. Add stock, paprika, salt and pepper. When thickened add sour cream. Heat through gently. Pour sauce over mixed meat, onion & mushrooms. Sprinkle with paprika and serve with cooked noodles.
