1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
2 T. flour
1 c. evaporated milk
5 1/3 T. butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (9 in.) pie shell, unbaked
1 c. pecan halves (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients and set aside. Heat milk and butter until melted. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir. Combine liquids with dry ingredients, mixing well. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with pecans, if desired. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting. (I top with whipped cream.)
