2 c. quick cooking oats
1 1/4 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.
2. In large bowl, with electric mixer on medium speed, beat margarine and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in sugars until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture.
3. On UNgreased baking sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, 2" apart.
4. Bake 12 minutes or until lightly browned. On wire rack, let stand 2 minutes; remove from sheets and cool completely.

Makes about 3 doz. cookies.
