1 stick of Parkay margarine
1/2 stick of butter flavored Crisco (1/2 C.)
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 capful real vanilla flavoring
3 3/4 cup measures of all-purpose flour (2 1/4 c.)
1 tsp. baking soda
a measure of salt about the size of a half dollar in
your palm
3 or 4 handfuls of Nestle's Semi-sweet chocolate
chips

Cream together shortening, margarine, and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well-do not use electric mixer. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt into the mixture. Mix well, add chocolate chips and mix some more. Dough will be kind of stiff. Using a soup spoon measure, drop dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 7-9 minutes or until light golden brown. Cookies will puff up while baking, then fall as they cool.
