Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour cream
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks of butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa

FROSTING:

1 1lb. box of powdered sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. milk
1 stick of butter-softened
1 c. chopped pecans(optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375º. In mixing bowl, combine first 6 ingredients and mix well. In saucepan, boil next 3 ingredients. Add dry ingredients to boiled mixture and pour into a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. Bake for 20 min.

For frosting...Mix all ingredients together and pour over hot to warm cake to make a glaze. Sprinkle with pecans if desired.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
It is best to use a jelly roll pan than a cookie sheet. A jelly roll pan is deeper and will keep the batter from running over the sides. Also, let the cake cool for about 4-5 min. before frosting. This will allow the glaze to melt slightly. If you frost the cake immediately, the glaze will get too runny.
