Crust:
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil



Glaze:
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 T. corn starch
2 T. strawberry Jello powder

Directions:
Directions:
Crust:
Put ingredients in 9-in. pie plate to mix; press on bottom and sides. Prick crust and bake at 400º for 12 - 15 minutes. Cool and then fill with stemmed, washed and drained fresh strawberries.

Glaze:
Cook ingredients til thick; cool. Pour glaze over fresh strawberries and top with whipped cream. Refrigerate and serve.

Daisy was Grandma Wolf's sister Lessie's daughter. She also made grape pie, which I never tasted except at her house. She had a large arbor of purple grapes.
