1 lb. chicken livers
8-10 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and cooled
2 large yellow onions, sliced
1/2 cup oil or margarine
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Warm margarine or oil in medium pan over medium-low heat.
2. Add onions to pan & saute until soft and transluscent. Set aside to cool.
3. Broil the chicken livers until cooked through (no pink/red left in center), cool to room temperature.
4. Count out whole chicken livers, use one egg for every two livers for the recipe. Save leftover eggs for another use.
5. Using a meat grinder, alternate grinding two livers, then one egg until all livers & eggs have been ground into a bowl.
6. Grind sauteed onions using meat grinder into the same bowl with the liver and eggs.
7. Mix the liver/egg/onion mixture just a little, then put the mixture through the grinder a second time.
8. Add salt & pepper to taste, mix gently until thoroughly combined.
9. Spread on matzoh or crackers. Enjoy!
