3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup lard or Crisco
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup cold water

Filling:
1 qt canned or fresh cooked pumpkin
1/2 cup of white sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Very small amounts of nutmeg, ginger, salt, and cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first six ingredients like any other pastry dough and roll out as for pie in small circles of desired size. Mix filling ingredients together and place an amount on one side. Fold other side over, press edges together firmly with tines of fork. Bake in 350º oven till golden brown.
