1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp cider vinegar
2 tbsp honey
1 1/4 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp grated onion
1/4 tsp celery seed
Dash salt
1/3 cup vegetable oil

8 cups torn mixed salad greens
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1 can (11-oz) mandarin oranges
1 medium sweet onion, sliced into rings
1/3 cup slivered almonds (toasted)
4 bacon strips cooked and crumbled

In a 2-cup microwave safe bowl combine the first 9 ingredients. Microwave, uncovered on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Whisk in oil. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
In salad bowl, combine all other ingredients. Drizzle with dressing and gently toss to coat. Makes 12 - 14 servings.
