1 Kg. de membrillos sabrosos (comprar algo más pues hay que pelarlos y se pesa sólo la pulpa)
750 grs. de azúcar

Cortar la pulpa en cubitos o tajaditas y colocarlos en un tazón pyrex, tapar sea con una tapa pyrex o un plato invertido. Llevar al microhonda en “high” (máximo) por 15 min.

Por separado las semillas con su gelatinita colocarlas envueltas en una gasa simple como una “muñequita” bien amarrada.

A los 15 min. procesar la pulpa como un puré y agregarle el azúcar y seguir procesando.
Volver éste puré al tazón anterior, hundir dicha “muñequita” dentro del puré y llevar tapado al microhonda en “high” por 5 min.
Retirar del microhonda y revolver bien con una espátula (es muy importante para que no se caramelice el contorno).

Volverlo a llevar al microhonda tapado por otros 5 min. luego repetir el revolver y probar si ese es el punto que le agrade para untar. Si se desea más espeso, repetir la operación de 5 en 5 min.

Si se deseara “carne de membrillo” lo máximo sería 25 min. contando todos los 5 min. anteriores.
Para “carne de membrillo”, retirarlo, revolverlo y volcarlo en un molde para pan humedecido y espolvoreado con azúcar. Se deja enfriar bien antes de desmoldar.
