3 lbs 1" thick boneless round or chuck steak, cut in serving pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
Flour
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 can (1 lb, 12-oz) tomatoes, chopped, undrained
2 large onions, sliced
2 cups celery slices
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, chopped

Directions:

Sprinkle steak pieces with salt and pepper, coat with flour. In skillet heat butter, add steak pieces and brown on both sides. Arrange steak pieces in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend. Cover and cook on high for 6 - 7 hours or low 10 - 12 hours. Makes 6 - 8 servings.
