3 T. melted butter
2 T. flour
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 t. sugar
1 c. cream
2 cans green beans
1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 c. cornflake crumbs

Melt butter, stir in flour, salt, pepper and sugar. Add cream gradually and cook til smooth.
Pour over beans & place in greased casserole. Top with grated cheese and cornflake crumbs. Bake until boiled through and topping is browned.
For the large Pampered Chef baking dish, I double the whitesauce recipe and use up to 10 cans of beans.
