4 c . flour
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. warm water
1 t. salt
3/4 c. warm milk
1 c. butter
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add with milk and egg to flour mixture. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Next day: Divide dough into 4 parts on a floured board. Roll out into 12 " circles. Brush with melted butter. Cut into pie shaped wedges and roll up like crescent rolls. Place on a greased cookie sheet.
Cover and let rise in a warm place until nearly doubled (about 1 hr.). Bake for 10-12 min. or until golden brown. Makes 48.
Recipe halves easily.
