1 c. water
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. golden raisins
1 t. soda
1 c. oil
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs
2 drops butter flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins in water in heavy kettle until water evaporates.
Add oil and sugar. Add 2 eggs when cool. Beat well. Add flour with soda and salt. Stir in vanilla and butter flavoring. Mix thoroughly.
Roll into balls, then roll balls in sugar and flatten.
Bake at 350º until done.

We got this recipe from a dermatologist who recommended it for kids with skin problems. It came to be a favorite.
