1 Large Head of Cabbage - Shredded
1 Large Onion - Quartered
Salt to Taste
2 lbs. Short Ribs
1 Large Can Tomatoes
1/2 c. Lemon Juice
1/4 c. Brown Sugar - Packed
2 qt. Water
1 tsp. Olive Oil

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, brown meat in oil. Add water, bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is almost tender.

Add shredded cabbage and tomatoes and simmer for another hour.

Add lemon juice and brown sugar.
