1 cup butter or crisco
4 cups flour
2 yeast cakes
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, salt, and yeast in a large bowl. Heat milk to lukewarm and pour in bowl, add beaten eggs and soft butter. Add flour and stir well. Cover and let raise until double in bulk. Make into butter horns and let rise 15 to 20 minutes. Bake in hot oven (400º) for 15 minutes. Make powdered sugar icing very thick and put on rolls while hot. This dough will be very soft, use as little flour as possible.
