1/3 c, almonds, chopped
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/3 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
3 pts. vanilla ice cream, softened
1 jar (12 oz.) apricot preserves
Whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Toast almonds in butter, then mix with crumbs and extract. In 9-inch square pan press a layer of crumbs, then a layer of ice dream. Drizzle apricot preserves over top. Repeat layers of crumbs, ice cream and preserves, ending with crumbs. Freeze several hours until firm (overnight if possible.) Cut in squares and top with whipped cream.
