Make cake mix following box instructions. About 5 minutes before the cake is done get a small saucepan and mix pineapple (with juices) and 1 cup of sugar. Bring to a boil until sugar is dissolved. Let it cool a bit.

When cake is done poke holes all over it and pour pineapple mix all over it. Put in the fridge a few minutes to cool.

Make pudding following the box directions and spread over cake.
Put in fridge again to set.

Make whipped cream (use about 1/3 c sugar to sweeten it) and spread over the top of the cake.
Decorate with toasted coconut.
