1/2 cup soft shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 egg yolks
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar and egg yolks together thoroughly. Stir in milk and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and stir in. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of walnuts, then roll balls in a mixture of nuts and cinnamon. Place 3" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400º until golden brown, but still soft, 12 - 15 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
