4 quarts water
1 whole lemon, sliced
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 bay leaves
4 whole cloves
salt and pepper to taste
2 lbs fish (grouper is best)
1 - 28oz can crushed tomatoes
1 celery rib, finely chopped
3 TB bell pepper, chopped
1 tsp allspice
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
6 potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to boil water, tomatoes and all seasonings. Peel and quarter potatoes and add to stock. Cook until potatoes are firm, but not fully cooked. Add fish. Cook additional 20 minutes.
