3 c. soft bread crumbs
2 c. scalded milk
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1 t. cinnamon or nutmeg
1/2 c. seedless raisins (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread crumbs in 1½ quart baking dish. Blend in: scalded milk with butter, sugar, eggs, salt, cinnamon or nutmeg, seedless raisins (if desired). Place baking dish in pan of hot water (1 inch deep). Bake until knife comes out clean. Temp: 350º for 40-45 mins. Makes about 4-6 servings.
