Butternut Squash Recipe

1 butternut squash, cut in half
2 T brown sugar
dash of salt
2 t butter

Directions:
Directions:
Clean and cut squash in half. Put heaping tablespoon of brown sugar into the hollow of each half along with a dash of salt and 1 teaspoon of butter.

Cover each half with aluminum foil and flip so that cut side is facing down. Taking care not to cut foil, fold it up along sides of squash.

Place squash, foil side down in baking dish with 1/2" to 1" of water. Bake at 425º - 450º for 1 hour or longer, depending on size.

NOTE: This same recipe can be used for acorn squash.
