2 red peppers, halved and insides removed
1 lb of Mom's meatball mix (recipe in book)

1-2 cups sauce or brown gravy (if baking)
2 t vegetable oil (if cooking on stove)

Directions:
Directions:
Make meatball mix as in recipe. Clean, half and core red peppers. Fill with meatball mix to just overflowing.

If baking: Place 1 c sauce (or brown gravy) in baking dish. Place 4 stuffed peppers, pepper side down, in dish. Add sauce (or gravy) until it comes approximately 1/2 up the sides of the peppers. Bake, uncovered, at 375º for 1 hour.

If cooking in pan on stovetop: heat oil in pan. Add stuffed peppers, pepper side down. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook until meat turns light gray. Flip and cook to brown top. Serve with rice, sauce or gravy.
