1 C margarine
1 1/3 C sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond ext
4 eggs
3 C flour
1 1/2 tsp bkg pwdr
1/2 tsp salt
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine & sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flavorings. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Save 1 C batter & spread rest in 11X15 greased pan. Spoon cherry pie filling then rest of batter.

Bake @ 350º for 40 minutes. Drizzle with powdered sugar frosting.

This has always been a favorite when ever I make it. Some people make a simpler version by using a white or yellow cake mix and the pie filling. I think this is much better.
