2 cups macaroni
12 oz. sharp cheese
4 tbsp flour
4 tbsp butter
2 cups milk
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

Boil macaroni until tender.

In another pan melt the butter and add flour and stir until blended. Add 2 cups milk and cook until thickened. Add the sharp cheese. Mix this sauce
with the cooked macaroni and place in casserole dish. Aunt Mary always added extra cheese and butter before baking in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes until brown on top.

Aunt Mary always made this when we came to visit. I'm sure she tripled the recipe for our family of ten and her family of seven. Whatever she made it was always delicious because we didn't eat until 9 or 10 at night and whatever she cooked was great!
