"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Stir together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.

With fork mix in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir the eggs and cream together. Add to the flour mixture to make a stiff but slightly dry dough.

Turn out onto lightly floured board. Knead 2 to 3 turns to make a smooth ball.

Grease a baking sheet lightly and place ball of dough onto the sheet. Press down with hands to make a thick round.

Cut round into 4 - 8 wedges, but leave wedges in place. Drizzle with additional melted butter.

Bake at 400º for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.

Personal Notes:
I sometimes spread honey on top of hot wedges when I take this out of the oven. They are wonderful.
