6 green peppers
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3 tbsp. minced onions
1 can of tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 pound of grond beef
2 tsp. of Angostura if you have it

Directions:
Directions:
Cut stem from pepper, remove seeds and membrane. Beat egg slightly; add salt, pepper, onions,tomato sauce and bread crumbs. Let stand a few minutes until bread crubs are soft. Add ground beef and Angostura and mix together thoroughly. Fill peppers with meat mixture. Arrange in greased baking dish, meat side up. Sprinkle open tops with dry bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake at 375º for 50 minutes.
