2 lbs ground turkey
1 cup of fresh mushrooms
1 large onion
1 bell pepper
1 can Hunts chopped tomatoes with basil
Italian seasoning, basil, salt, pepper, garlic, oreganio
2 - 3 links smoked sausage
1 small bag of Italian meat balls
1 Large jar of your favorite tomato sauce
Directions:
Directions:
Wash the veggies and chopped in large pieces
place the ground turkey in the Dutch oven and simmer; occasionally stirring until it is brown.
Dump the veggies in the the meat, along with the tomatoes. Cook for half hour. Dump in the chopped sausage and sauce. Cook for a few minutes, and then begin to season with all the seasonings. Taste periodically until its the desired taste. Can be spiced with hotsauce if you like a spicier sauce.
Cook for approximately 1 hour with all ingredients.
This sauce is great over spaghetti noodles, pasta, or in lasagna!
