6-7 c. flour(divided)
1/2 c. sugar
2 T. dry milk powder
2 packages dry yeast
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter softened
1 1/4 c warm water
3 eggs

Filling:
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
6 T. butter melted and divided

Icing:
1 c. confectioner's' sugar
2-3 T. milk

Directions:
In bowl, combine 2c. flour, sugar, dry milk, yeast and salt. Add butter and water, beat on low for 2 min. Add eggs: beat on high for 2 min. Add flour to form a soft dough. knead until smooth and elastic, 6--8 min. Place in greased bowl; turn once to grease top. Cover and let rise until doubled(1 hour).Combine coconut, nuts and brown sugar in bowl. Blend in 3 T. butter. Divide dough into thirds. Roll one portion into 20-in X 6-in with short side facing you. Brush top 2/3 of dough with 1 T. butter: sprinkle butter part with 1/3 of filling. Start at dry short side, fold over half of filling; fold over again.
Seal edges and ends. Place on greased baking sheet with folded edge facing away from you. Cut into 8 strips to within 1 inch from folded edge. Separate strips slightly; twist to allow filling to show. Pinch ends into point. Repeat. Cover, let rise. bake at 350º for 20-25 min. Drizzle icing over fans.
