Sauce: 2 T olive oil
1/2 - 1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 envelope (1/4 c) onion soup mix
1 c water
1 8 oz can (1 cup) tomato sauce
1 t sugar
1/2 dried crushed oregano

Meatballs:
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 t salt
dash of pepper
1/3 c bread crumbs
1/2 c milk

Sandwich rolls for serving

Directions:
Directions:
For Sauce: In saucepan, heat together oil and garlic. Stir in soup mix, water, sauce, sugar and oregano. Gently boil sauce uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

For Meatballs: Combine meat, salt, pepper, bread crumbs and milk, roll into 1" (approximately) meatballs and place on oiled rimmed cookie sheet. Bake for 1 hour at 350º.

When meatballs are done, add to the prepared sauce. Serve on open-faced rolls, adding additional sauce as desired.
