Pastry for 9 inch-one crust pie
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. fine-dry bread crumbs
1 (8oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. green pepper

Cheese Topping:
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt- dry mustard - Worcestershire sauce
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 425º. Prepare Pastry. In skillet cook and stir beef until brown. Drain fat from skillet. Stir in salt, oregano, pepper, crumbs,1/2 can of the tomato sauce, the onion and green pepper. Pour into pastry-lined pie pan.

Cheese Topping: Beat egg and milk in bowl . Stir in seasonings and cheese. Spread on meat mixture and bake15-20 minutes until crust is a golden brown.
