5 tbsp shortening
3/4 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
Egg whites, stiffly beaten

Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg yolks and beat well. Add milk and flour, which has been sifted with nutmeg, salt and baking powder. Add vanilla and egg whites. Bake in muffin tins. Dust with a mixture of 3 tbsp sugar and a 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
