6 - 8 Medium potatoes sliced thin to medium
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. green onions (onion tops) sliced
1 package of shredded cheddar cheese or any type of cheese you like.
2 tbsp. butter or marjarine

Use a medium to large casserole dish.
spread a layer of sliced potatoes to cover the bottom.
spread a layer of the mixture ot the onions, green onions, green pepper, and celery on top.
Dot with butter.
Continue layering until all the potatoes are used up.
Cover the casserole dish with aluminium foil if there is no cover for the dish.

Bake at 350º until potatoes are fork tender, approimately 40-45 min.

Spread the cheese on top and put back in the oven for approximately 5 min.
