2 lbs sugar (4 cups)
2 cups lard or shortening
2 eggs
2 cups sour milk
2 tsp soda (put in milk to dissolve)
Flour to stiffen (about 9 cups)

Directions:
Mix ingredients in order given and put on a greased cookie sheet. Sugar the tops. 350º 10 - 15 minutes. Makes about 18 dozen 1 1/2" cookies.
