1 Tbsp. butter or margarine (melted)
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
6 c. toasted oat cereal
1 c. pecan halves or walnut halves
3/4 c. slivered almonds
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325º. Spread 1 tbsp. melted butter in 15x10x1 inch pan.
In a saucepan, stir together brown sugar, syrup, 1/4 c. butter and the salt. Heat over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring constantly until brown sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal, pecans and almonds until well coated. Spread mixture in pan.
Bake uncovered 15 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen mixture with spatula. Let stand about 1 hour or until firm. Break into pieces.
