1 cup dry beans (pinto or red)
2 beef bouillon cubes
3 cups tomatoes
1 tbsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp basil
1 cup wheat berries
1 cup boiling water
1 tbsp caraway seeds
1 tbsp chili powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beans and wheat together. One way is to put beans and wheat in a crock pot with 5 cups water and cook on low 8- 12 hours then drain, rinse and return to crock pot.

Dissolve bouillon cubes in the boiling water and pour into crock pot. Add the remaining ingredients and cook on low another 3-4 hours. Use less salt if using canned tomatoes containing salt.
