Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Cookies:
2 boxes Devils Food Cake Mix (it has to be Pillsbury, with pudding in the mix)
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2/3 cup Crisco (butter works too, but not as moist)

Filling:
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese (the real kind is better than the non-fat, but your choice)
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cookies:
Mix, and roll dough into tiny balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 min. at 350. If they are still pretty round when they come out, you may want to slightly flatten them just a smidge with the bottom of a cup. And I usually only cook them for 8. Also it is a thick dough so you need to use a heavy duty mixer.

Filling:
Mix well and spread between two cookie layers. If you're not going to eat them for a while you may want to put them in the fridge just so that the filling doesn't get soft - or bad. :)
With the frosting one recipe covers almost a double batch.
