2 – 3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 TB olive oil
1 large green pepper, diced
1 large onion, diced
˝ package of fresh Bella mushrooms, diced, or 1 can of mushrooms
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 TB parsley
Sugar (This you will add according to your taste)
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 28-ounce cans of Hunt’s Crushed tomatoes (Hunt’s has the best flavor!)

In a large pan, at medium heat, sauté minced garlic in olive oil until soft.

Add peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Sautee until onions are translucent.

Add basil, oregano, salt, pepper and parsley to the vegetables and stir. Add meat and cook until meat is crumbly and brown. DO NOT DRAIN.

Add your crushed tomatoes and stir until all is mixed well. Now is the time to add sugar according to your sweet desire. Turn the heat down and simmer for 1 hour. Serve over spaghetti.
