1/3 c. very warm water
2 T. yeast
sprinkle of sugar
mix these 3 and set aside
1/3 c. sugar
1 t. salt
1 1/2-2 c. flour
1 c. very hot water
1 egg
ICING:
1/2 box or 1 3/4 c. powdered sugar. Little bit of milk or water, and a little vanilla. Put on after they're baked.

Stir together sugar, salt and flour, then add 1 c. very hot water. Then add one egg, mix. Then add yeast mixture. Knead in 2 c. flour. Put in bowl covered with 1 T. cooking oil, cover and let rise 35-40 min.s. Will double in size. Punch down. Roll out in a rectangle shape. Put about 1 t. melted butter on, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. raisins? nuts? Roll into log. Cut about 2" cinnamon rolls. Let rise in pan about 15 min.s. Bake at 350º for 12-15 min.s.
