In fry pan melt the butter; I use one stick for the vegetables. Slice the mushrooms and onion. Cook in butter until tender. Slice meat in thin strips and cook in small amount of oil till done. Season the meat with salt, pepper, garlic, and seasoning salt. Add two packages of the Dry Beefy Onion Mix to the meat stir until combined...this will thicken the meat mixture. Add the vegetables to the meat and stir to combine. Add Cream of Mushroom soup. Add sour cream just before serving. Boil water and cook egg noodles. Serve sauce over noodles. This dish is excellent with a side of something green and bread. This dish is great the next day as leftovers. Andy Pie likes to make this with Green Pepper added.

As most of you know I do not cook with measurements for most dishes. Sorry if this is a difficult recipe. But you will love this dish. Start with the steak and add other ingredients to make the right amount for your family. For the full Newton table I use one or two large steaks, large package mushrooms, two large onions, two family size cans of Mushroom Soup, most of 32oz container of Sour Cream (this is a to taste ingredient), 2 envelopes of the Beefy Onion dry soup mix, and a large package of wide/broad Egg Noodles.
