1 pie crust 6-8 Apples, Mac Intosh
or Jonathan
1 c sugar 3T flour
3 T butter, melted 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Roll pie crust to kuchen pan size.
2. Peel, core and quarter apples. Place in rows in pie crust.
3. Combine sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
4. Bake at 450º for 30-40 minutes.

A variation
1. Sprinkle 1/2 c sugar over apples.
2. Beat together 1/2 c sugar and 1 c sour cream and pour over apples. Bake at same time and same temp.
