1 c. packed brown sugar
6 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 apple, 1 pear unpeeled, sliced
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. oil
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sour cream
2 eggs

Melt brown sugar and butter in 10 inch skillet. Whisk until blended. Arrange sliced fruit in bottom of pan. Combine dry ingredients in medium bowl. Whisk eggs, oil, sour cream and vanilla together. Then beat into flour mixture. Pour batter over fruit. bake 30-35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Run knife around edge, invert onto serving plate.
