3/4 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. tart apples, finely chopped
3/4 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in eggs and vanilla (mix, don't beat). Fold in apples and nuts. Turn into a 9" buttered pie pan. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes. Don't overbake. Serve warm with butter or ice cream. Is it a cake, or is it pie? It's a mystery!
